Bungie's description is short and complete: “A new update to Destiny is available. If you are seeing this error the first time you launch Destiny, please exit the game and apply the update before relaunching.”
This is the most predictable code in the whole set. It arrives in a wave the moment a patch is deployed and then all but disappears until the next one.
